Guided Walks

There is a fantastic range of walks to be enjoyed in and around Inverness. From magnificent ancient pine woods, to rugged coastal clifftops, to the splendour of the Great Glen Way long distance footpath the scenery and natural heritage of the Moray Firth is second to none.  Tread in the footsteps of Jacobite warriors, explore the clan lands of your ancestors, experience the health benefits of Nordic walking or look out for dolphins and Ospreys as you enjoy miles and miles of beach front.  We have very liberal access laws in Scotland (see www.outdooraccess-scotland.com for more details) and you are welcome to exlore the Highlands on foot at your leisure.  Employing the services of a local guide can, however, add immeasurably to your memories of visiting the Highlands.  A good guide will bring alive the history and folklore of the area that you are travelling through and can share the secrets of the amazing plants and animals that thrive in the area.
