What is Paintball?

Paintball has been described as the most fun you can have with your clothes on. It’s an adventure pursuit game invented in the early 80’s by two guys who thought it would be entertaining to shoot cattle / tree marking pistols at each other. It was such fun that a whole new leisure activity was born. There are now well over 2 million participants a year in the UK alone and participation worldwide grows year on year.

Paintball should be enjoyed at registered venues that can hold your hand through your first visit leaving you free to concentrate on the thrill of the activity itself. Not all venues are the same and you should look for your chosen venue to be a member of the United Kingdom Paintball Sports Federation (UKPSF) and the best of those are ones that display the “Accredited Venue” logo.

So is it fun? Oh yes the adrenalin rush experienced whilst playing paintball is like nothing else and it can be enjoyed by anyone of secondary school age or above. It’s suitable for just about any event from Birthday parties / family fun and stag parties to Corporate and team building events.  Paintball is very popular and advance booking is essential so ring now to check availability!

What can I expect?
On arrival your group will be kitted out in the protective safety gear supplied and given a short briefing on rules and expected behaviour. You’ll then be split into teams, given a quick practice shot of the gun and led out to your playing areas. Each playing area has a mission to challenge your team before returning to base camp for breaks.

What if I have a problem?
You should be supervised at all times - so just ask the staff to help.
